HI,
I have an 86 accord and just put in a new distributor. the car seems to be running a little ruff and has a deep sound to it. I tried to set the timing as best i could, but it says to set the timing to the white mark, and then when you put everything back, then the red mark should be showing. Well in the end, the red mark is way down from the pointer. What would cause this and is it a big deal? I need to get the car smogged and would like to fix it before i take it in just to make sure that it passes.
