Question 1: is your Shift key on the keyboard broken? It is hard to read your post.
Statement 2: never go to Aamco. Unfortunately you already did it.

Now back to business. How do they know that the bearing is shot? If it was shot you would know it firsthand. It sound like a regular scam from Aamco. I would tell them to assemble the axle using my old bearing. I doubt they have a bad one laying around.
