swapping partscordovaass 05-22-2006, 01:13 AM would the y-pipe and cats off a 2004 sierra 4wd bolt up to a 2001 silverado 2wd? my cats have took a dump and i could get some off this sierra that this guy is parting out. i know its not the best but its alot cheaper than new ones. jethro_3 05-22-2006, 11:17 AM Just ask him if his has a "Y" pipe or two pipes into the muffler. Those are the only 2 shapes they come in. More than likely yours and his are different. cordovaass 05-22-2006, 08:19 PM Just ask him if his has a "Y" pipe or two pipes into the muffler. More than likely yours and his are different. if there are only 2 ways they come ill at least know when i look at it. my friend has a 2003 silverado 4wd and it looks the same. ill have to check this guy out. he said he would sell the y pipe with cats and o2 sensers for 100 bucks. thats cheap TexasF355F1 05-22-2006, 08:34 PM See how much more it would be for aftermarket ones. You may spend more, but it may be a reasonable difference that will give you better performance. Not to mention they're new. cordovaass 05-23-2006, 12:24 AM See how much more it would be for aftermarket ones. You may spend more, but it may be a reasonable difference that will give you better performance. Not to mention they're new. for the nice magnaflow cats its about $500 dollars and its $200 for some o2 sensors. like i said im sort on ends at the moment. its not going to be the best but it will work. so i think $100 dollars if it only lasted a year then its worth it. besides one of the joys of being low means that there isnt a muffler shop in town that i can drive up on their lift. hehehehe Cronjo 05-25-2006, 12:50 PM test vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
