Factory warranty about to expire...

Hey all,
I have a 04 CompG GTP and I almost have 36k on it and the warranty is about to expire... Is there anything I should look for on this car before I run it over the 36k marker? Also, I have been having a couple issues with the GM mechanics at the dealership with them not fixing or not acknowledging that there is a problem with some of the things that I have brought the car into them for.... i.e. I had some issues with my sunroof pausing when it was opening and closing and they acted like there was nothing wrong with it all because I guess that they couldn't get it to malfunction for them.... <---- Like I would waste my time bringing my car in for maintenance if it didn't need it??????? Ohh.. Well. Thanks ahead of time.

Make sure you have an invoice for every service visit even if no work was done, verifying your complaint. You will need this if something occurs within a reasonable time after the expiration.

Might be a good idea to purchase an extended warranty at least for the next 1 or 2 years.
