88 accord lxi will not startborn2see6win 05-20-2006, 09:13 AM after replacing the fuel pump i am getting plenty of fuel to the fuel rail and i have plenty of spark, but car will not start. it will run on starter fluid but not without it. not sure if i should change air/fuel sensor or pressure regulator or something else.any help will be appreciated. optibones 06-18-2006, 11:51 PM i'm having the same kind of problem with my car. i've got an 89 dx. i can have my girlfriend stand there and spray the beast with starter fluid and it will run on that, but as soon as she stops and the fluid is burnt off, the car dies. the catch to mine is that it doens't happen all of the time. it will be just fine in the afternoon when it is 90 plus degrees outside, but once it cools off (anything below 85) and it give me all kinds of hell to get started. jimmyn33 07-29-2006, 03:33 PM There should be a relay box under the left side of the steering wheel, I thing that it is gray, not sure, it has cold connections, if your handy just solder them, if not replace jim vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
