hey
first time posting
just got a 97 gt for 500CAN.

but i get this humming sound from the front left side and know its the wheel bearing but u guys always talk about buying a new hub when in previous cars i had u can just knock out the bearing and use the same hub., and simply pound in the new one
as i dont have tons of money as i just put on a new waterpump yesterday(85can) id liek to just get the bearing itself and swap it out
let me know if this is duable

The hub & bearing is all one piece so you cannot do just the bearing.

Plus there is an ABS wheel sensor integrated in.

Best quality or best priced? There is a big difference. If you do not go with Delco, then make sure you get either a BCA(Federal Mogal) or a CR bearing assembly. Do not I repeat do not get a white box or an Autozone special. You will be doing it twice.

I wourk for a Delco distributor in Flint, MI, and I can get you a delco for $151 (US dollars)+ s/h. I assume you are in Canada, so if you PM me with your Canadian postal code, I can get you a shipping quote.

Boneyard is a good idea but since you are up North rust will be a problem.

Probably not. I never did but it probably won't hurt on the alignment.

I'm confused, but I used a 3 jaw puller to get mine off.

hey
well end result was..... just put the whole spindle on, only took like 45 min to do. hardest part was prying down with a pole on the control arm to drop the lower ball joint out of spindle.. other then that it was easy
