hes right in that copper plugs are not used in cars as much but if your looking for performance in your riviera then copper plugs help disipate the heat of the block better than other materials. also people who race their riviera change out plugs more often than most economy drivers so the copper plugs help keep cost down and the change in plugs every 30k helps ensure a clean tip and good spark every time. if you want the plugs to last a long time then go with iridium plugs they perform like coppers but last a lot longer. i've never heard of titanium plugs but stay away from bosch +2 or +4 platinum plugs, they are not worth the money and dont work well in amarican cars. acdelco is what gm uses for its cars and they are good plugs they just cost more than autolites and do the same thing.
any other opinions on plugs from another forum member is welcome?

You are better off running the Autolite Copper Core spark plugs. It is the racer's and modder's choice spark plug. The problem with the AC Delco Iridium is finding one that is cold enough heat range wise, especially if you have a supercharged 3800 with a smaller SC pulley. You will get excessive knock retard (KR) due to detonation. Here is a guide. Notice there are colder spark plugs for the OEM AC Delco 41-921 Platinum spark plug.

AC Delco "Iridium"
Stock ......41-101
Colder heat ranges unknown

AC Delco "Platinum"
Stock..........41-921
1 colder.......41-932
1-1/2 colder..41-919
2 colder.......41-913

Autolite "Copper Core"
Stock.....606
1 colder..605
2 colder..104
3 colder..103
