Greetings,

I dont know why, but ever since I bought the car its driver's seat was messed up. It is not symmetrical anymore, lowering the comfort of seating a whole lot. What happened is I think it was a heavy driver owning the Riv before who liked to sit to the side or something. As a result the left portion of the seat is squished in and the right is normal. So when I sit, it is not very comfortable as I keep sliding to the left.

My question:

What can I stuff it with to equal out the support level from both sides. I attemped to figure out how the seat is put together and I felt what I believe is stapes holding the leather to the base of the seat.

Does anybody have any experiece with taking these seats appart. Is it difficult Difficult? I mean I can deal with this problem... but would rather get it fixed to enjkoy the comfort of this vehicle to the max.

Thanx

do you have heated seats? (it makes it more complicated if you do) i would take it to an apolster shop to have someone redo the seat. its not really a DIY project unless you have the tools, and know how.

thank you for consideration,

The seats arent heated. May I ask, what would be the type of the specialty shop I should look for. Say I want to find it on switchboard.com for example, what type of shop would it be under. Thank you.

somewhere like "unique autosport" (if you live in NY) or an auto custom shop should be able to do it (it may be pricey i've never checked) you could probably go to an audio installer place (the ones that do car sterio systems and window tints, etc) they should be able to recommend a local place.
