Navy appears to be lying to me, may try to transfer to Airforce2000LS1Z28 05-10-2006, 11:13 PM Well after taking some people's advise it would appear that someone within the Navy is lying to me. I was informed that the cap off age for the Navy Officer Program is 29 years old. I came to find out that it is 29 years of age, and i'm thinking that they were trying to fill the IT position for which they have a high demand for. I've heard that there is a way to transfer over to the other military branches, even if you are enlisted. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? I will be talking with an airforce recruiter tomorrow. The difference in pay is very substantial, roughly $1,800 more a month. -The Stig- 05-10-2006, 11:49 PM I had this sinking suspiscion that you weren't going to make Officer at your age. I just didn't have anyway of proving it... and was hoping I was wrong for your sake. Figure it out... get what you deserve. 2000LS1Z28 05-11-2006, 12:08 AM Yeah, the cap off age is 35. I'm not 35 yet, so i'm still in the running for an officer position. I think the Navy is just trying to fill a void, as no one wants to go in the IT program. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
