Well after taking some people's advise it would appear that someone within the Navy is lying to me. I was informed that the cap off age for the Navy Officer Program is 29 years old. I came to find out that it is 29 years of age, and i'm thinking that they were trying to fill the IT position for which they have a high demand for.

I've heard that there is a way to transfer over to the other military branches, even if you are enlisted. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? I will be talking with an airforce recruiter tomorrow.

The difference in pay is very substantial, roughly $1,800 more a month.

I had this sinking suspiscion that you weren't going to make Officer at your age.

I just didn't have anyway of proving it... and was hoping I was wrong for your sake.

Figure it out... get what you deserve.

Yeah, the cap off age is 35. I'm not 35 yet, so i'm still in the running for an officer position. I think the Navy is just trying to fill a void, as no one wants to go in the IT program.
