I have a 98 GTP and it misses when it boosts. I have changed the spark Plugs, wires, coils, fuel pump, gaskets, fuel pres regulator. It still misses the injectors were checked and the guy said they were ok but it still misses. any ideas what would cause this.:banghead:

Have you scanned to see what # is missing? Isolating the miss will help troubleshoot. When you changed everything out did you go with OEM AC-Delco?

i had a similar problem on my 2000 gtp. it was the crank sensor. ask your mechanic about that, i believe that it controls the firing in the plugs.

Bad plugs, wires, coil-packs,ignition module, pcm - any of these guys could be the culprit (sp?)

check the plugs for cracks, the ends of the wires for solid connection; make suer they aren't loose or worn

pull the coil packs off individually and look for burn marks on the bottom of the pack, check for burns on the ignition module. - this can help find out if the miss is from a particular cylinder.

Did you ever scan and find out what cylinder was missing??

Are you sure it's missing and not slipping? my tranny went out about three months ago and about 2K before it actually died, the car would feel like it was missing under load, load+ boost, cruising in 4th...

There is a fuel pump resistor that increases fuel pressure under boost. But like KX2000GT stated, scan it to see if you have a specific cylinder missing, or if it's a random misfire and post the findings. If your check engine light is on, Auto Zone and Advance scan for free.
