about 3 weeks ago i purchased the speedbuilt fenderwell cold air intake for my gtp with the new k & n inverted top cone filter. About a week later it threw the code P01020 which then said maf or vaf low circuit input. It started making my rpms jump at idle and when decelerating they seemed to drop to 500 and almost want to stall and then comes back up to a normal idle when stopped. I took it to autozone and they told me that the oil from the k & n gunked up the sensor, so i cleaned it erased the code and it came back on. Went back there and then got a remanufactured maf sensor and it still came back on then i checked the voltage on the maf harness and it read a normal 5 volts. I even checked the vacuum lines and they were fine too. I have no clue on what to do i was wondering if anyone could help me please!!

P0102 is MAF Low Input to the PCM. It means the frequency is below 1200 Hz. The proper range of output for a MAF sensor is above 1200 HZ to 11500 HZ. The error code is unique to a defective MAF sensor. Get a good MAF sensor (not reman) and you will probably resolve your issue.

BTW - You did not specify the year of your GTP. But make sure the replacement MAF sensor is for your year GTP.
