98 Trooper Exhaust Issuesangrypete 05-09-2006, 08:06 AM On a trip my exhaust came away from the flange on my manifold causing my Trooper to sound like a cheap lawnmower. I took it to a muffler shop to get a weld but b/c of the placement of the the flange, he had to take it down to weld it. He said that the bolts were seized up and when he tried to take the nuts off they stripped and the nuts wouldn't move, so he cuts the bolts off with the torch. Now I have to get the manifold removed to get the bolts machined out and new studs installed. My question is how much trouble will it be, the manifold it attached by what looks like eight bolts, but there doesn't look like much room to take it off, any help would be appreicated. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
