can i use a jdm d15b ecu with ad16z6 engine?

if you mean the p08 its ok but you will not gain all the power of the d16z6

im running the original p06 with my d16z6, i put in the d15b ecu yesterday and it started with a cel is that normal until the vtec is wired in or is something wrong with the ecu

look : the d16z6 include vtec system so you have to use the ECU which include vtec software . and these ECU is P08 for d15b vtec jdm, P28 for d16z6 (your engine ) , and p30 for b16a will work too.
so search for the p28 will be the best for you. and after try it if rhe cel still light so check for ecu error.
