coolant in sprak plug hole

so on my girlfriends 98 cavalier (2.2) there is coolant bubbling up in one of the sparkplug holes, not too much but enough to see. Anyway, you guys had any experinece with this? Think it s the head gasket / cracked head? Thanks for the reply

It is most likely the head gasket. Not sure fo the price of a new gasket but you'll have to pull the head and replace it. Do it yourself and it'll be relatively cheap.

yeah i kinda figured that... i can do the work myself but i want to be sure that is what the problem is first before i start tearing it down. Thanks for the reply

It is the head gasket.Take the head to machine shop to get checked for warpness.If it is warped,get it milled and do the job right the first time.The new head gasket will not seal very well with a warped head

When having it milled/serviced, have them check it for cracks too, just in case...

And ALWAYS buy new head bolts.
