Went in debt today...Just call me GMCTrucks06chevytrucks92 05-04-2006, 10:50 PM Me and the bank are now prowd owners of a 2006 GMC Sierra Crew Cab Z-71. Its black with dark charcoal interior. I dont have any pictures to post of it yet, but that will come tomorrow (might even slip in some of it pulling my car this weekend, lol). I've been wanting a new truck for awhile now, and I finally have a job that I can afford one, so I signed on the dotted line today. I love it too. Its got TONS of room inside, even more so in the back then I had imagined. It has Onstar, XM, bucket seats, automatic climate control, steering wheel raido controls, 6-disc CD Changer, Bose sound system, towing package, 5.3L Votec tha tis E85 compatible, 3.73 gear ratio, locking differential-pretty much all options except: leather and a DVD player. -The Stig- 05-04-2006, 11:08 PM Sweet rig man... new trucks are great... they smell like bacon. VR43000GT 05-04-2006, 11:23 PM Nice, I love those trucks. I was in that exact type of truck except it was an 05 not to long ago. It was like sitting inside a car there was so much space. It did have some balls too but probably doesn't feel the same way for you after driving the Vega. Igovert500 05-05-2006, 02:06 AM Nice, congrats on the purchase. Speaking of cab room, have you guys been in the Ram Mega Cabs...FRICKING HUGE! We had 5 full grown guys all over 6ft in there, with both front and rear seats reclined, and everybody had space, no knees hitting the backs of chairs. It was awesome...until we got yelled at and had to go back to work. Andydg 05-05-2006, 11:08 AM Sounds like a nice truck, good luck with her. If I had the money I'd pick one up today. Musashi3000GT 05-05-2006, 04:14 PM Congrats man, enjoy that baby. pics or ban. :icon16: chevytrucks92 05-06-2006, 12:06 AM Thanks guys. I love it so far. It rides and drives great. The Bose sound system is awesome. I just really like it. I do miss the exhaust note of my other truck though (still have it BTW). But I'll cure that problem sooner or later. I guess I'll let the new wear off first before I start that kind of stuff, lol. I did however have the front two door windows tinted today and bought vent shades for all 4 doors. I'm going to let it ride like that for awhile, but I will eventually buy one of those "punch" grille inserts. They look almost identical to the Denali style grilles if you know what they look like. It did have some balls too but probably doesn't feel the same way for you after driving the Vega. LOL. Its got alot of power for a truck, lol. But no, nothing feels stout compared to my car, lol. I guess there's two ways to look at that: 1) It cured me from wanting to "hot rod" my truck and drive fast on the highway OR 2) It spoiled me from wanting to "hot rod" my truck (or any vehicle for that matter) and drive fast on the highway. pics or ban. :icon16: Coming sometime this weekend. It rained here today so now its dirty. BUT the weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow, which is great all around! Get to clean up my new truck for the first time AND its race day! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
