Do you have water in the passenger floorboard?

Well......a few things can cause that. One.....does it smell like antifreeze? That would be the heater core. Does it happen when it rains? As said in another thread.....would be a seal. What about when the A/C is running....that is what I just fixed...the principle is simple....to get it done is tough. The "pee hole" will get stopped up at some point in time in you cars life. My car is 191,000 miles old....maybe sooner or later for you. You will have to put you car on a rack or stands or ramps to fix this. Once jacked up......look up on the firewall on the passenger side of the car.....you will see a big tube elbow with a small hole in it.....this is the pee hole. Pull the whole tube out.....then you will see the opening itself. Oh...and by the way.....it is very difficult to get to...you will have to look up at it by the engine....but will have to reach up there over by the tie rods. I am a medium size guy with medium arms. If you are bigger than me......you will have trouble getting your arms through the opening and will have to get someone to help you. IF you can get your hand to the hole, take a piece of 14 gauge STIFF speaker wire or something like it and push it in until you cannot push it any further. Once in......move it in and out a inch or two to clear the edges of the pee hole out. Once done...NO MORE WATER IN THE FLOORBOARD!!! Be diligent in entering the wire....it takes time and effort.....but it will work.

Good luck....I am still shaking from all of the injuries of doing this a few minutes ago......but was it worth it? HELL YEAH!
