There's a z24 around here for sale, I think it's worth it but other people don't, It's a red 98 z24, 125k miles, it's got the 98 fog lights in the front, new rotors, pads, muffler, clutch, lightly tinted windows, the paint is chipping off the front bumper right in the center, it's a patch about the size of a hand thats chipping, there's bubbly rust right under the chevy badge on the hood, a dent about the size of fist in the drivers side fender and thats about all the body damage, each door panel has a hole from the tweeters the former guy took out, no radio included, im not sure if the wiring for the radio is a mess or not, there's also a crack/chip in the windshield right in front of the driver's view about an inch or a little but smaller, it's got AC and a sun roof, and it all works, it's a 5speed, the interior is pretty clean, umm i think that's about it, they're asking $2400 in cash, think it's worth it?

i wouldnt pay that much for a 4 cylinder with 125000 miles, and rust/body damage (especially if they cant even throw in at least a cheap shitty radio), if they're charging an odd amount like 2400 they plan on being talked down, see if they'll take 2000

i tried to talk him down to 22 or 2000 but he said it's only been out there for 2days, and he'll see if he gets desperate enough, i gave him my # and he said he'd call me. It's also been 2 days since then and the car is still in the same place, kinda away on the side.

just my 2 cents but, i picked up my 2000 z24 cavalier from a honda dealer preowned with 26,000 miles on it for $6000 and i live in california they gouge you for the price of a car here, so i would say you could get a better one cheaper. I'd say $1500 for the car if you want it that badly

I don't think it is worth more than 2,000, if that. You could probably find one in much better shape for 2,500 to 4,000 bucks too with less miles. If you want it though, then hope that some idiot doesn't decide to pay full price.

I think the milage is a little high myself, and once rust starts its a b!%#@ to stop, but if you have the money for body work and engine rebuild, definately a sweet project vehicle!
