99' r/t computer problemsneonr/tfreak 04-28-2006, 06:40 PM I have a 99' r/t with code 32. egr failure. I have an egr block off kit. I bought a mopar performance computer and it has check engine light. It says to get it flashed for vin and miliege. Will this add any unwanted codes? das2123 04-28-2006, 06:45 PM You don't need to have the PCM reflashed. Pull your fuel pump fuse in the PDC for 10 minutes after you install the PCM and you should be good to go. neonr/tfreak 04-28-2006, 06:46 PM It won't pop back on? neonr/tfreak 04-28-2006, 07:03 PM I did what you said but it never went off neonr/tfreak 04-28-2006, 10:11 PM Does anyone have any idea what I can do or do I just have to get my new pcm flashed? das2123 04-28-2006, 10:53 PM Does anyone have any idea what I can do or do I just have to get my new pcm flashed?Try unplugging the negative terminal on the battery for about 10-15 minutes. That should reset the code. Besides the Mopar PCM should not trigger the code again, because it doesn't look for the EGR. neonr/tfreak 04-29-2006, 09:32 PM I don't think it is the EGR. The mopar pcm instructions said it may trigger a code because the vin and miliege need to be flashed. Is there any way of getting around that? das2123 05-01-2006, 08:54 AM I don't think it is the EGR. I don't know about getting around flashing, because I have not heard of people getting a cel after installing the Mopar PCM. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
