I was just wondering what would be involved in adding hid's to a non-hid altima. Im guessing they use different headlight assemblies but with the wiring and all that I dont know.Thanks.

To add "real" HID lights, it's going to cost a few hundred $$$.
The old bulbs have to come out.
Then you have to buy a HID kit and have it professionally installed.
It includes the electrical wires, ballasts, HID bulbs, and mountings.

I don't think it's worth it.

Just replace the factory bulbs with a bulb that is "equivalent" to a HID.
I got an 06 Altima and replaced the factory H1 bulb with the PIAA H1 Extreme Force from here:

Granted it won't be as powerful of a light as a true HID bulb, but does make an improvement over the standard factory bulb.
