hello forum. well i changed the purge solenoid that was causing the P0441 code pop up, the very next day my car died and a mechanic told me that I wasnt getting any fuel pressure to the engine from the fuel pump. So i had the fuel pump replaced, and the service engine light comes back on. What???
with the same code P0441, I cant believe this. Also P0748 came up as well. pressure solenoid inside the transmission electrical. So I take my car to a transmission specialist and he drives the car and tells me its fine and that I have nothing to worry about the car isnt slipping and the gears are right on point.
I have been dealing with this P0441 code now for a little over a month and Im really getting aggrivated. Even with a new purge solenoid and a new gas pump. I checked for leaks within all the lines that connect to solenoid itself and nothing, I didnt see any, maybe I missed it I dont know. :screwy: .

The only way to eliminate the code is to go over every vent and canister hose from front to back. It sounds like you have one that is cracked or pinched, causing the insufficient flow code to keep re-appearing.

I encountered the same problems recently and after spending time and a few phone calls to GM dealers,I discovered that GM was notorious for a resistor that interacts with the fuel pump to control fuel flow to go bad. I replaced this. Also your resonator might be bad too. Might wanna check that out. I had to replace that as well.

My engine light has been popping up for quite some time now, mechanic says it gives him something to do with the e-vap control?? anyone know what that could be? i geuss thats what keeps setting off the SES light after it keeps getting cleared, it will stay out for a couple of days.
