hi i have a question about using probe h beam rods with topline pistons they say the pistons are suppose to exceed stock pistons by 20%. also will they work together? the reason being that i need to use these piston is that my block needs to be bored .40 over:shakehead and there are no turbo pistons .40over. i have already posted the block to prevent sleeve movement. should i even bother with the rods. and i would like to keep this block seeing how i have invested money into it already, and sleeves are out of my price range. any help would be great.

why not bore it over to a degree where there are turbo pistons.....if the block is sleeved it shouldn't matter..

i know.....you can get it bored to a degree where there are pistons and rings for it....you can get rings w/ a different endgap so they fit.....dont half ass it

its been a little over a year since i've gone and torn an engine apart and built it....go post this on Honda-tech w/o the part about the Probe pistons and the good engine builders on there will help you out a lot!
