Does the picture posted above accurately reflect the location of the egr valve on my engine, also? ZL1power69 04-26-2006, 12:44 AM 1995 Blazer with the 4.3L. Does the picture posted above accurately reflect the location of the egr valve on my engine, also? pretty much. it is directly under the throttle body portion of the upper intake manifold. its black and held on with 2 bolts. that reminds me, i need to pull mine and clean it. razan 04-26-2006, 12:59 AM my engine looks like this one from another thread... http://www.blazerforum.com/upfiles/1233/C7327B377AA44C2990DDE5A2D956A386.jpg what do I have to remove to be able to see the egr valve? ZL1power69 04-26-2006, 01:06 AM just remove the air intake an look under the front of the manifold (right below the throttle body) and u will see it. if u want full access to it, u can remove the upper intake manifold, but u can get to the egr bolts without doing so. razan 04-26-2006, 01:25 AM is a cmfi the same as throttle body? is that silver thing, that looks like six pipes coming out of it with "vortec" in the middle, the upper intake? ZL1power69 04-26-2006, 10:29 AM is that silver thing, that looks like six pipes coming out of it with "vortec" in the middle, the upper intake? yes that would be the upper manifold (the entire intake manifold is 2 pieces). "the silver things" are the intake runers, lol. razan 04-26-2006, 01:35 PM ZL1power69, thank you for your help. razan ZL1power69 04-26-2006, 05:55 PM ZL1power69, thank you for your help. razan no problem bro, glad too. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
