oh yeah another ? what does a invoate wideband o2 sensor do and how much will it do for your car is it worth the 350 or not?

Sorry, I've never heard of either piece.

Those devices such as wideband O2 air-fuel ratio meter kits help monitor the engine specifically data off the 02 sensor so you can tune your engine accordingly. By itself it doesn't really do anything for performance. I have an AeroForce Tech Interceptor Scan Gauge in my GTP which reads our air/fuel mixture from the 02 sensor and knock retard, etc. They allow you to tune your car such as fuel injection system for that ideal 14.7:1 ratio. IMO just a waste of money unless you race your Grand Prix and have extensive mods. However, they do come in handy as a monitoring device to keep an eye on the engine and the emissions system.

The afc is mainly used by guys running alky, water or nos. like bnaylor said, waste of money unless you are gonna race or mod heavy...

totally disagree with part of this statement. i run an AFC and i have a GTP. what the afc does is it tricks the PCM into either take/dump fuel into your engine. for FI(forced induction), especially on the GTPs, you get something called knock. what knock is when the inside of the engine where the pistons are pumping up and down in reaction to the sparks and fuel, it conducts heat. with the blower forcing alot more air than an aspirated motor, it heats up as it goes into the lower intake manifold and it'll cause the spark plugs to ignite too earlier causing predetonation or a 'kncok' from the inside of the motor. the engine coes with a knock sesnor to fight knock by pulling timing from the engine.
with the afc if you do get any degree of knock it, it allows the pcm to dump a bit more fuel to equal the amount of heat to reduce predetonation. as one would continue to mod and ie-drop to a smaller pulley size, knock will be further increased with the increase of air being forced into the LIM(lower intake manifold). alky and intercooler is a higher mod to reduce knock, but can bbe used in combination with the afc. knock(KR) comes from the factory either in a supercharged GTP or even in a N/A GT, regardless.

Edit-the afc can be used for daily driving as well to maintain your engien to last longer. even when one does 'spirited driving', on a stock motor, Knock is present but stock knock wont actually do alot of damage, but comes with wear and tear after time. i see the afc as a good investment to continue to hold the engine together longer than its expected life if without it. having some sort of scanner, ie-aeroforce or LS1M to monitor how the engine's holding up is also a good investment.

All of us with GTPs are well aware of knock retard (KR) and the theory behind it, especially if you have forced induction. If you have the right mods and are tuned right you do not need any device such as a Mini AFC. The bottom line is what does it equate to in real world data, ie: 1/4 et, etc.

I do not run a mini AFC nor do I need one. My KR has never been over 1 degree at WOT. My GTP is moderately modded and my track times are quite satisfactory.

So I agree 100% with Jake that it is a waste of money.

will for yours you are running 1.8 roller rockers. it clears more room for higher rpms and exhaust to be more free which yes, in your case an AFC would be pointless.

Edit- for grandprix00 topic. a afc would allow a better mixture to let the car idle, and run, rather come out of the factory either running too rich or too lean. what bnaylor has done is a more cost effective/substitute(rather an afc is the substitute here), by upgrading his rockers with modified rockers, or you can go alky or intercooler or get a upgraded cam. for a poor mans modder like myself i am currently running the afc and scanner, but the next stage, if you want to call it, would be either upgrading my stock rockers to modified/roller rockers or go alky/IC or more expensive cam.

I agree.

If you are on a beer budget I can't say I would disagree with your philosophy behind those devices. A realize a lot of GT and GTP owners are always looking for ways to get more power or looking for that smoking gun. In closing there is only so much you can do on a beer budget when it comes to mods and getting the most out of your engine but if it makes you happy that is all that matters. My recommendation is to save up and get that mod you really want that will make a difference.

I forgot to mention that headers are a significant mod to reduce KR although pricey.
