1998 trooper, 3.5 .I am getting a code 113 atleast thats what auto zone told me. Its says something about sensor "1" ( being shorted or open)in their manual they have to read the codes. the guy who read that said he was unaware of what that code meant. Anyone know what it means??

IAT Circuit Input High

If the code is correct and its the idle air control, would you understand why our truck is running so well. Everything I read states that it should run rough or not start well or so on... Ours starts good, runs good and at this time has no idle problems.

IAT= intake air temperature. There is a temperature probe that pokes thru the air tube between the airfilter box and throttle body. You can unplug it, pull it out and replace it.
