Hi guys. I'm new to the site. So glad I found it. This site is awesome!
I have 2000 Grand Prix GT, 3.8L, 86K miles. No major problems yet other than the whole plenum leak problem which I ended up taking to the dealer. That really should have been a recall.
Anyway, I've had a few different problems recently, so I'll put them in different posts. One is that the fan in my car has stopped working. Doesnt matter if its the heater or the A/C. I read a few old posts regarding electrical problems associated with the level of the fan, such as headlights turning off, or dash lights going bad, etc. but I dont have any of those. Just no fan. I'm wondering if I should try changing the blower resistor, ignition harness or both. Any ideas?

Welcome to AF.
If you have no speeds then it could be the blower motor. You can remove it and bench test using 12 volts. If it works then:
If you have a manual HVAC change the blower motor resistor. If digital climate control change the blower motor control module.
Unless you have the other symptoms I would rule out the ignition switch and harness assembly.

Thanks guys. I have the digital climate control. Richtazz, I saw in other posts that you have access to parts. Could you give me the OEM part #'s and ur prices for both the blower motor and blower motor control module?

Don't know if this will help you or confuse you more. I have a 2001 gtp and the blower fan went out this past winter around christmas. I bought the resistor and the blower, since i was sure it was one or the other. So I pulled the blower motor and bench tested it> and nothing. So I just installed the new blower motor and it works great again.
