All the while my speedometer isnt working either! I replaced the VSS hoping that would cure the problem but to NO AVAIL...I REALLY NEED a quick answer because i am supposed to leave for houston on friday for a new job and i absolutely can not miss this! unfortunately the 125C is not computer controlled. The only thing that is computer controlled is the TCC. Don't sound good that is slipping and won't shift. Is the fluid level correct? Did the speedo start working after the new VSS?

yes the fluid level is fine i just flushed it out about hmm 2 weeks ago...and no the speedo did not work after i changed the VSS...im afraid...very afraid...just a lil bit ago it stopped shifting into reverse...i fear the worst...but could it be the VCC?...or a stuck valve body maybe?...im stuck but thanks for the reply!

You stated that you had the transmission flushed. I wonder if that just shocked the system into failure. Sounds like a rebuild or major repair is needed, but I am not a tranny tech or capable for diagnosing those issues.

With it being a 92' I can only assume that you had really high miles when it was flushed.

Good luck.

ok guys! this morning i replaced a heater hose that was cracking and i started the car and it started to idle roughly and displayed SES so i got out my trusty paperclip and pulled the codes...code 33 map sensor high voltage, low vacuum..the transmission is vacuum operated correct? im about to go pull it up on the ramps n start lookin for a broken vacuum line...

Yea if the vacuum was bad you would get late shifts but.... it wouldn't slip and still would shift.
