i have seen this information on this forum before, but does anyone know what kind of cabin air filter from what kind of car will fit the slot in a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP? There is a cutout and a place for the air filter but grand prix-es always say that there are no cabin air filters. i was told that you can increase the life of your blower motor by putting in a cabin air filter. thanks and i'll quit posting now hah.

get the stock airbox out and install a CAI system. Thrasher mods are the best haha.

Good advice for a CAI but what does that have to do with a cabin filter?

Bob covered you. Just ask for one for a 97-03 Regal. The spot is there in your heater box, they just don't put them in from the factory on the Grand Prix.

I change my cabin filters out every 6 months due to the weather conditions here. I don't waste any money on name brand cabin air filters like AC Delco or Purolator. Fram omitted. If you have a Kragen/Checker/Schucks around they have a generic white box cabin air filter for $11.00. Regal '97 - '04.
