Went out im my diablo roadster today, and noticed it was beeping inside the car at me.

I rekon its something to do with the suspension settings it has 4 settings as well as auto...and it flicks about quite a bit....no visual lights to indicate what the beeping is or reference in manual..

Is a little bit off-putting and worrying to say the least..

Also has the 4cm lifiting feature wondered if it was something to do with this also.....

Anybody got any Ideas ??

Have all VT got these features ot just Roadster

My Diablo makes the same noise. I don't know if we are talking about the same beeping , but in my case, my Alpine navigation system tracks the speed limit in every area that I drive in, and if I exceed the speed limit in a certain area, there is a red indicator that says "SPEED LIMIT" that lights up on my dash, along with the beeping. The beeping at first was quite bothersome, but I got used to it. In my case, the beeping has nothing to do with my suspension, my advice is to check with your dealer or authorized Lambo dealer.

Check where is the sound coming from. One thing i notice with my roadster, if you want to check wether the door is not shut properly, the lights won't go on, and there is no sound like the sound it will make when you door is fully opened, but the electric windows won't work. May be there is some wiring problem, and sometimes, the lights on top on will mix up u know wut i mean?

I don't think the front lift suspension would be the problem. if the sound is like, on and off, and only occur when you driving, get the door checked out. then once again, the stereo also can beep. mine is custom, it beeps three times whenever the car is turned on, long one beep when the car is off. then again, like abstract, get to the dealer to check it out.

Abstract, if your navigator is doing that speed limit thing, you can manually turn it off. is it a CVA1005 / IVA C800 Head unit?

Will look into the door theory...but it evens beeps when stationey...the beep is like the noise from the radio when you left it on and took the keys out...or left the keys in....

Seems to come on now when it feels like it... totaly unpedictable...I think it might be something to do with the alarm....

Spoke to dealer and he thought it could be a speed warning. but wants me to return it so he can check it for me.....

Cant bare the thought of them taking it back from me though even for an hour !!....

man i feel for you, only if you had, say a 355 spider or a 328i to roll in while they had your lambo, how are you going to survive?

some times there may be errors between the wirings. may be some wires are lose in the componets that it inverts the signal instead of doing the correct thing.

for instance, it supose to beep when the lights on, but the lights won't on and it still beep.

but it doesn't do it all the time, is because it lose up and tights while your driving is all different.

but any way. that's what the guy i service my car suggests. Speed limit is manually putted in, therefore if you change it to 300k/h, you won't hear the beep very often so...

i will be more than happy to take the 355 off your hands for 15K US, but i just don't see how a Ferrari couldn't cut it, judist its a Ferrari! but hey, different strokes for different folks.

A Diablo and a F355, man its way different.

355 is a V8, and the Diablo is a V12, the grip on the Diablo (VT i mean) is much better, plus, the driving possitions and the way you seat is way comfortable than then 355.

One of our family friend has a 550, i admit in many ways it is drive friendly, the blind spots are smaller, the view angle is great, feels smoother rather the diablo is quite jumpy depends on how you drive it.

driving a diablo give u more attention than 550, and i don't think the 355 is even going to be in the same catagory. its different. F40 is out of fashion, a F50 might get the attention of the diablo.

yea, that happened to us once.. but it never came back.. I though it might have had something to do with the alarm wigging out due to low voltage in the battery or something along those lines.. I doubt it was anything to do with door, since I accidentally don't close door all the time and i dont beep down the freeway.. :)
