With the 97-03" Grand Prix's getting older and cheaper, you can probably find a well kept GTP more economically than putting all the parts, especially the tranny, into your GT.
Just my two cents.

You may want to read he post at the top of the page about putting a supercharger on the normally aspirated 3.8. I think you will find that the purchase of another vehicle may be cheaper. The supercharger shop has a lot to learn about Pontiacs.

We discussed the issue of turbo/supercharger not too long ago. One of the L36 owners noted that ZZP has come up with a L36 SS M90 kit which may be an alternative. Still not cheap no matter how you slice it nor is it a simple bolt on. See link below:

wonder who that was lol..
no head work needed with this kit. exhaust work is not required either but i'd highly recommend it to get the most out it. i think if you gave the shop your car, this kit and the fixins, maybe get some headers/cat/ubend and upgrade your tranny, and finally a nice tune, you'd have a beast on your hands.
any1 wanna pay my college loans off so i can get it myself?

Gee! I wonder who that was.....lol.
IMO still better off with a GTP. :grinyes:
BTW - Three things are inevitable facts of life. Death, taxes and paying off college loans.

Just think about it though, paying on 22k worth of college debt so you can make 35-45k off the bat with a bachelors degree is a nice return versus paying $22k on a car that loses a huge chunk of its value each year.
Just my two cents.
