How do I replace the front passenger side turn signal bulb on a 2001 Corvette?

How do I replace the front passenger side turn signal bulb on a 2001 Corvette?
You probably have it figured out by now. The way I do it is to remove the underside plate just behind the air dam. I've heard of guys setting the brake cooling tube aside and reaching through to the socket but I couldn't. The lower plate removal is quick and easier for me.
