Nothing Lasts Forever

:banghead: My love affair with Chrysler began when I bought a Dodge Colt in 1983. That little thing was the best car I ever owened. It never needed anything but tires and batteries for the many years that I owned it. Because of it I bought many other Chrysler products. An 84 Carravan, an 88 Carravan, 95 Concorde, 2000 Concorde and a 99 Carravan are all veheicles I either now own or have owned. I'm finnally done with Chrysler. After numerous transmission repairs and air conditioner problems I'm totally disgusted. It's true nothing lasts forever and it seems as though the Chrysler engineers have figured out exactly when stuff will break because it always happens to me 5 or 6 thousand miles past the gurantee. The last two incidents really got me. With my 2000 Concorde the evaporator and compresser went out. They gave me a 12 month 12000 mile warrenty on that repair. 14 months later it went out again and I had to pay the deductable once again. Chrysler denied any responsibility. Today my wife turned the air on and it didn't seem to be working. This time its only been 10 months. Maybe I'll get them on this one but who knows. The other recent issue is that my transmission went out at 83,000 miles :2cents: on my 99 Carravan. Some of you may say that's enough. I think in todays market 125,000 to 150,000 is more like it.
That's why I titled this rant Nothing Lasts Forever...yes things do break down and for Chrysler it's to soon. My love affair with Chrysler is another thing that doesn't last forever. I'm done!
