Headers have been a huge topic over the past years. While most would say don't waste your money. I would say do whatever makes you happy. I'm happy. FDor 1200 bucks I had my JBA headers installed by a high performance shop. They had a little difficulty getting everything lined up just right, took a day and a half.

I love the sound at normal acceleration. Sounds like a V8. I feel a little improvement of HP and Throttle response is very quick 100 mph gets there a little sooner. I'd say more top end rather than bottom end but it runs so smooth it's hard to tell. I love the sound. Did I already bsay that.

My set up is K&N dropin filter, Deckplate mod, 60 series Flowmaster Muffler with a 3'' exit from muffler back. With my headers it ties everything togeter nicely. just my input fellas.

Later.

I've noticed an increase in gas mileage. I also did the intake silencer removal as well. What a sound when you get on it. I have felt a little more oomph in accelration. I have an electric fan as well on order. should free up some more hp and mileage. The throaty sound around 1800 rpms really pleases me. I get looks from people as they wonder what I have under the hood.:grinyes:

I went to midas. They hooked me up. You couild probably find any muffler shop to fabricate an axhaust system for ya for about half the price. I once ahd a 97 taco 4x2 w/v6 a shop fabricated duel exhaust for me for 200 bucks.
