I have a 90 cherokee 4wd with 130000 miles on it. it runs fine for about 10 minutes in the morning. oil pressure is up and the motor sounds good. After about 10 minutes the oil pressure drops and the motor makes a pretty loud chatter above 1500rpm. I thought it might be a bearing issue but i don't think its loud enough to be bottom end. I tried putting thicker oil in thinking if it is a connecting road bearing it would help fill the bearing gap. It didn't help... it seems to have gotten worse. Any ideas would be great. I looked through the forum and i found similair problems but nothing really like this one.

Thanx
Rob

Take the inspection cover off of your flywheel and tighten the flywheel to torque converter bolts. chatter should go away.
