What's a "ubend"? does my car have Ubend?

Hello, I hear regal people talking about how they can remove the "ubend" for more sound and preformance...what's the ubend and does my car have a ubend?

the riviera does not have a U-bend we have a T-pipe and its the part of your exhaust right befor the single 2 1/4 pipe splits to dual 1 3/4 pipes and mufflers. if you get exhaust work done on your riv then you should change it to a Y-pipe for better flo although the T isnt that bad ( U-bend is worse)
