I have had no luck in finding any sources on how to replace a blown retractable headlight motor. The headlight motor blew, so I bought a new one, and now Im not sure how to repair it. My Lude didnt come with its repair manual. Can anyone help? PS, I tried Haynes and Chiltons, but the Autozone around here was out of those books.

your gonna have to take the fender off to access a nut on the motor acuator (pushes the light up and pulls it down) then its just a matter of removing stuff around the motor to get access. dont know the specifics, have to do it soon on my 89 si, when i do it ill take pix for u
