How do I disconnect resonators to make the car louder help plzzz!

Hello, 1996 buick riviera s/c I was told that I can disconnect resonators that muffle the sound of the car, and make the car louder..can someone please tell me how and where exactly to unplug or disconnect whatever it is.. please reply Thank you-
