Need help with my 2002 chrysler intrepid

hey yeall im new here, i bought my first car about 2 months ago a silver 2002 intrepid. i got it used and there was 99000 clicks on it when i got it.

it has been running great so far, the air intake on it sounds great sounds like it is super charged lol, its a 2.7L 6cyl se model

the other day my engine light came on.
i had my 4 year old nefew playing in my car and i think he might have reved the engine too high beacuse when i turnd my car back on that day the engine light came on and has been on for the last few days.

i was wonder if any one could tell me what it might be or what i can do to fix it. its my first car so im on high alert for creaks and noises lol u all know how it is.

on another note abot 2 weeks after i got it. there was a rattel comming from the right passenger side right where the dash is. the rattle is not really loud but is anoying. it sounds just like when you break a strut in the rear, u know that gigling noise it makes. kinds sounds like that. some time it will rattle if i hit a bump or sometime it will rapple if im just crusing on a nice flat road. and sometimes but not oftin there will be no noise. sometime if you hold the glove compartment it will stop sometimes not. just wondering if there was any tips u guys might have to help me out.

hi i have a 2000 intrepid with 2.7 worst engine out there u should run syntectic oil for longer life .
