Steering Funk

I have a 91 15 Passenger E350 and I have noticed the steering get gradually worse. Whenever I make a turn to the right, I have to really crank hard to get the wheel around. Left hand turns I can make with one finger all the way around and back, but right turns are extremely difficult. Can anyone tell me why? Any help would be great.
