Help please! First I am new to this site and know absolutely nothing about cars. My car has been overheating and I was told it was a blown head gasket, well that problem has been fixed along with the head being resurfaced and pressurized. Well it is still overheating. It also isn't the thermostat....so what else could it be. Someone help please!
Feel free to email me at

Check to make sure the coolant is actually moving. You could have plugged cores in the radiator. It is real common on cheaper cars because the owners fail to do proper maintenance.

It is real common on cheaper cars:eek: ..are you calling the neon cheap :grinyes: ...

Anyway, I agree the radiator could be bad. How did they determine you had a blown headgasket and what type of gasket was used to replace the old one?
