so you have a S15 spec R? you got most of the facts right except that the 200sx is called a 240sx in the states becuase its a 2.4 liter. hence the name 240. just like the 300zx is a 3.0 liter or a 350Z is a 3.5 liter.

And are you sure about the redline? My S14 redlines at 7k, and I'm pretty sure the SpecR does too.

The SpecR2 is essentially a SpecR that Nissan NZ added a few things to to sell the last of the model, but it's still a pretty good deal, and the wheels looked much better.

How much do you want to mod it? APS in Australia can get something like an extra 100kw at the wheels, and the mods don't cost alot either, plus they have different stages of modification.

:) u know ur shi+, i know where to get the parts from (a place that imports directly from japan) and its down the road so :D

is it possiple to make a car good for dragging AND for drifting?
because i heard that u need to do different things for different kinds of performance.

The link I posted is an Australian firm, that designed and made all the pieces themselves, so that place down the road from you might not be able to get those specific parts for you.

As far as drifting and dragging goes, I'm not terribly knowledgable about drifting, but I'm pretty sure you'll need a different sort of suspension set-up for both. So basically I think you'll have to make a compromise, or stick with one or the other.

Before you mod, check around with what's out there. There's plenty of things these days, so don't just go for the first thing you find. I have however heard VERY good things about what APS do to S15's, and the price is very reasonable too. I have an article in one of my Australian Motor magazines that I'll scan up for you some time if you like.
