hey, I'm in the process of rebuilding my H22A4 in my 98 prelude. I was wondering if one brand of header was better than an other. What makes a $400 header better than a $200 dollar header? I want a good build, but I still have a budget to deal with. Let me know if anyone knows anything or has any suggestions. thanks

all i know is, you got to watch out for some of the cheap ebay headers, thier welds are prone to break... thats all i know. for the price, shikara, or whatever, is a pretty good header. my buddy has had one for 3 years and no problems.

The stock exhaust manifold on an H22 is pretty well designed so you won't see much gain from a $200 or a $400 header. I've heard guys with manufactured headers like DC Sport and Greddy gaining around 10hp with a full catback. Guys with custom headers (like SMSP or RMF) report around 20hp gains, but custom headers cost some $$$.
