2000 Silverado 1500 Z71. I now have my second wheel speed sensor problem. I'm not in any of the recall areas. I pulled the fuse under the hood to disable the ABS system until I can get it fixed. Now, I have the orange ABS and red 'brake' idiot lights on my dash. I don't like this, because, if I have a problem with the rest of my braking system, I won't know it. It seems to me that the first time I had this problem, I pulled the 'brake' fuse from the box inside the passenger compartment. I went back to the truck, replaced the fuse under the hood, removed the fuse from the passenger compartment, and now, I only have the ABS light. The brake lights on the back of the truck are working. What does this 'brake' fuse do, compared to the ABS fuse under the hood?
