Okay I am now getting another car. I'm going with a 1998 Civic Hatchback and I'm going to swap in the ever-so-great b16a2 into it, but I'm left with a predicament.

I can either get Type R Civic Cams, Skunk2 stage one cams, or crower cams, and I don't know which are better. I've heard crower cams in a 2000 civic si, and I love how they sound, but my friends rev limiter got dropped to 7000 for some odd reason. Which ones provide aggressive lift, good horsepower gains and drop in without modification of the valve train?

Oh yeah and a guy I know has a CRX Si with a b16 and he claims to have an aftermarket DC sports header for an integra type r on it. I know b-series parts are interchangable but is it possible to put the intake and exhaust manifolds made for a 1.8 liter b-series engine onto a 1.6 liter b-series engine?

Oh and i'm going to need an intake because the stock air box from the b16 is from another car and i know it won't go in and i don't want to drive around without a filter because I saved for a while to get this car and the last thing I want is dirt in my combustion chambers.

Thanks for the help

u never ended up getting that hatchback did you....?

you can interchange bseries intake/exhuast parts....

ctr cams would be best if u can get a good deal...

interchangable parts? yes, you can swap b18 stuff onto b16 as in exh man, but you cant swap a b16 exh man onto b18.
as for cams, i have heard good things about ctr cams. right now we are installing a set of buddy club spec 3 cams in a guys c1. heard even better things about them.

CTR/ITR Cams will give you a decent power gain, they are the most relyable, skunk2 and crower, and all those other aftermarket cam manufacturers give more power, but the relyability is questionable
