I have gas coming out of the muffler. I changed the valve cover gasket. I changed the fill filter and the pressure relief gas. I even change the 02 censors. I still have gas coming out of the muffler. What do you think that might be? Please respond as soon as possible...

It could be any combination of the following -
Coil pack(s), spark plug wire(s), spark plug(s), fuel injector(s), catalytic converter(s).

Your best bet is to have your EEC read for any codes.

I would say its a bad injector or fuel pressure regulator. Are you sure it's gas coming out the tailpipe?

I would have to say make sure all of the exhaust valves are completely seated and the seals are intact. That means you would have to pull the valve covers to check the valves. Is it intermittant or constant flow of gas? Do you smoke? Just kidding. Also check the valve springs or hydraulic valve lifters. If the gas is coming out of the tailpipe, then it probably got there by being pushed out by one of the pistons before being able to be fired, almost like a backfire that didn't. I think you have a very serious, and potentially dangerous, problem. I wish you the best of luck. Do you know how the valve and piston systems work? Post your response and I can get back to you. Don't let the girl thing fool you! I know more about cars than most guys I know. I would rather fix it myself than take it to a shop (for more than one reason). Good luck! If you should figure it out, please make a post and share the cause with me and the others, I am certainly intrigued.

Had same problem. You probably have an injecter staying open. My computer was bad, and caused injector to fault to open. Cost me app. 400.00 about 3 years ago. I had a repair shop make the repairs.
