Removing headrests on 98 Riv?

Can anyone tell me how to remove these headrests? There is a small hole on the front of this plastic collar where the steel support goes into the seat. Is that a release of some kind? Couldn't find anything small enough (aprox. 1/16") to stick in there to try it.

If anyone has a tip, please let me know. I just want to remove them temporarily so I can put on the seatcover, and then put them back on over the top of that... Thanks! :)

FYI... Yup, that's the release. It takes a 3/32 diameter or smaller pin to push the spring loaded clips back to pull them off. It would be easier to have two pins and do them both at the same time, but I managed to hold the one up while releasing the other after a few tries.
