Hey everyone, i was wondering if there are any caprice parts websites out there? My father has an 84 Caprice, and we are currently doing the suspension over. We're looking for the rod that connects to the frame of the body and also travels through the a-arms. Can't find it any where. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Btw, what up Blownalcoholboy!!!

Do you mean the upper control arm shaft?

I'd say the upper control arm shaft as you say .. the shaft is the same for any B (Caprice, RWD Impala, Olds 88, Pontiac Parisienne, Buick Electra etc), or D-body (Olds 98, Cadillac DeVille or Fleetwood) from 1977-1996.

I would agree with rock auto. I've bought parts from them before and they seem to have prices that are the same as or lower than other stores. The only thing is they sometimes lack the aftermarket diversity that is available in other stores (example: K&N air filters).

Stuff like that are "service parts", like brake parts, steering, etc. You can get the whole upper control arm assembly (bushings/shaft/ball joint) from the dealer, or individually from any reputable parts store
