4.2L airfilter FYI..rodeo02 03-15-2006, 06:58 PM I just replaced the stock airfilter on my 2005 TB LS with an OEM replacement from carquest auto parts. It's a good filter & I like carquest, but it set me back ~$24. A few days later I saw a fram replacement at walmart for ~$14 :banghead: . I *try* not to buy from wally, but how can you not in cases like this? :uhoh: BTW- the fram air filters are pretty darn good. It looked just like OEM. I wont touch a fram oil filter, but you cant beat their airfilters. G/luck Joel rrclyoung 03-17-2006, 02:47 AM I always go with Fram air filters.....I found mine at autozone for 13.50....what brand was the 24.00 one...I will stay away from that one. rodeo02 03-17-2006, 03:27 AM The carquest a/f is either dana or wix. It came in a heavy, un-marked cardboard box?!?! It does appear to be nicely built though. G/luck Joel vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
