Best products for a full tune-up infinite8 03-14-2006, 10:21 AM
what parts and their brands are the best for my tune-up? (1994 GTP 3.4L) richtazz 03-14-2006, 02:20 PM stick with AC-Delco on the plugs (R44LTSM stock oem, or 41-932 platinum upgrade) and wires (726E), but the filters (air [a1208c], fuel [gf578], pcv [CV859C] valve, etc...) aren't as critical brand wise. On the fuel filter, make sure it's a steel body filter, not pot metal or aluminum, or you'll never get it back off. maxwedge 03-14-2006, 04:14 PM Seconded! bearinns08 03-14-2006, 05:20 PM i'm too lazy to search right now..what about directions/help on replacing a fuel filter, difficulty level??? theres not a problem with it, just for a little tune-up action StevePT 03-14-2006, 05:49 PM Fuel filter replacement is simple. One end is threaded with a weld nut on the filter housing and the other is held on by a plastic clip you need to press together and then slide away from the filter. Use a can to catch the fuel or pull the fuel pump relay and run the car for a bit to pull the fuel out of the pressure side of the line.
