They say you will only buy a black car once in your life. Its soooo true. Even though its my fav color its such a bitch to me. I clean my car every week wax it every 2 and I can only keep my car clean for 3 days after I wash it!!! I have it covered every night and during the day I dust it before I use it and after.

Anyone know if an anti-static strap will help keep the dust off?
Mine is pearl blue but seem to be a dust magnet.

I feel your pain, but I think I have it worse. I suffer from an empty 4 acre lot in front of me. I live by some mountains and the wind picks up from time to time. I also have some big pine looking like trees that drip a gallon of zap per minute and a pound of pollen a minute. Not only that but I also have to deal with the freaking cat prints left on my car. Stupid alley cats:flipa: use my hood as a step to the wall. Now I only wash my car when I'm going out somewhere or just sick of looking at it. Any suggestions on what to do with the cat problem. Maybe a pit or rot......hehehehehehehehe.

I wouldn't - you might end up with the dogs leaping up on the car to get the cats!!!!!!

yah, i have a midnight blue myself, and it is a pain to keep it looking clean everyday. I use some cal duster in the evening after Im done with the car and do some quik detailer on the top of the rear and front bumper, trunk lid, roof, and hood every other day. keeps dust and other build up off. i dont like washing the car everyday because cars do need time to keep dry...otherwise youll notice a lot of rusting especially on your hubs.

Never thought about that. It's like a cartoon I seen when I was younger. They used a cat to take out the rat, then a dog to take out the cat.................., and so on till they need a rat to take out the elephant. .:hehehe:

i used mothers california gold showtime car detailer. i had a pearl white g20. every other day while i was waiting for my car engine to warm up i would wipe the car down with the detailer and a soft all coton towel. i would do this in less than five mintues. your car is clean, shiny, and the engine is warmed up,
