PT Vs. Accord and 240sxjonnyboy9012 03-10-2006, 02:02 AM 1st race- During work last night i kept hearing about these cars that where out in the parking lot, something about fast and racing, as i tune in further they are talking about street racing, so i decide i would join in. After talking to the owner of the 240sx i decide to race him after work... he has K&N filter and high flow cat... so after work we take it to 1st street (industrial road) and line up... i give it a three honk go and we take off we... from the start we where neck and neck... then after about 100ft i inch and inch eventually ending up with 1 1/2 cars on him. 2nd race- This guys friend decides he wants to give it a go... so one day later and 1 ego larger i decide to give it a go with an older accord with exhaust... mind you it is a 6cyl... we line up on first and take off... (thank god this guy didnt know how to drive)... off the line he gets a little jump on me... but no fear, the 3,500 RPM power band is here... i catch up in a hurry and pull on him... ending up with about 3-4 car lengths on him. All in all pretty good races... gotta thank my friend brent for flagging them both. TerminalVelocity 03-10-2006, 02:06 AM lol, I thought you were racing them in the nova, and wondered where the PT came into all this...and I was all wtf...you only won by that little? good kill for the PT then! VR43000GT 03-10-2006, 10:12 PM I'm not calling BS but I'm just a little surprised the PT beat a 240sx. Don't PT's run like mid 17's? Anyway, good kills. jonnyboy9012 03-11-2006, 01:48 AM Personally i dont know what they run, when i bought it i requested the HO motor, but it is not turboed. The 240sx i raced was auto and wasnt anythign special. I can get a video if you really want one, im sure he would run me again. VR43000GT 03-11-2006, 01:16 PM No thats fine. I believe you. There can be so many factors that can change the outcome it can make your head spin. r.j-lo 03-14-2006, 09:34 PM wow. i wouldnt think the PT could do that. Ours run 14.9 but thats turbod vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
